True refrigeration units are among the most resilient in the foodservice industry. All True chef bases including the True TRCB-48 come equipped with an over-sized, forced-air 134A refrigeration system. The efficient 134A system boasts shorter compressor run times and colder holding temperatures.
The True TRCB-48 chef base is a forty-eight-inch wide unit with all stainless steel front, top, and sides. The top of the unit is all one piece, made from heavy-duty 18-gauge stainless steel. The steel top features a marine edge that protects against spills. Foamed-in insulation prevents heat transfer from cooking equipment to the interior. Four-inch, front-locking casters come standard with each unit.
Drawers and Interior
The stainless steel drawers support a variety of pan size configurations. One full-length divider bar comes standard in each drawer. The interior construction has NSF approved white aluminum sides and top. The interior floor is all stainless steel with coved corners for easy cleaning. The entire cabinet structure and drawers feature a high-density polyurethane insulation.
Options and Accessories
All True units including the True TRCB-48 chef base come with a three-year warranty on parts and labor, and five years on the compressor. Optional accessories include six-inch standard legs or six inch-flanged legs. Also available are a sixteen-gauge stainless steel top and extra divider bars.
