Nemco 55700 Easy Flowering Onion Cutter, cast aluminum and stainless steel construction, adapter base for smaller onions, easily disassembled without tools for cleaning, NSF.

Nemco Onion Core Cutter The Core Cutter easily removes the onion core, creating a space to add a ramekin filled with delicious dipping sauce. The Nemco 55700 Easy Flowering Onion Cutter comes with two different core cutter sizes, 2-3⁄4″ and 1-3⁄4″, and an adapter which works for smaller onions.
Nemco’s Own Flowering Onion Recipe:

  • Place a peeled colossal sized onion in the Nemco 55700 Easy Flowering Onion Cutter, pull down on the handle, lift up to eject the onion, gently spread the petals apart.
  • Place the onion in your favorite batter, make sure batter gets between all the petals, remove the onion and gently squeeze to remove excess batter, place the onion top up and bread.
  • Gently place the breaded onion upside down in a fryer basket and fry at 375° – 400°F for 90 seconds then flip the onion and fry for another 90 seconds or until golden brown, drain off the excess oil after removal.
  • Place the onion in a shallow bowl and remove the core with the Core Cutter included with every Nemco 55700 Easy Flowering Onion Cutter, place a ramekin containing your favorite dipping sauce in the now vacant core location, and serve.
