Globe Foodservice has the right slicer for every application. Globe G Series slicers are ideal for foodservice operations with moderate slicing needs. The G Series slicers have a few added features compared to the C Series economy slicers. For example, the G Series slicers have additional built-in safety features. The knife ring guard protects the user from the non-slicing portion of the knife. The no-volt release prevents activation of the slicer if the power is interrupted during operation. Enhanced ergonomic features include the endweight with improved grip, which keeps the hand farther away from the knife. The 35° angle food chute makes slicing easier, reduces waste, and improves visibility of the sliced product. The hollow ground blade has a hardened metal alloy that stays sharper longer.
The Globe G12 slicer features a 12” belt driven knife with a 1/2 HP motor. It is rated for 4 hours of slicing per day. To see how the G Series slicers compare to other slicers from Globe, refer to the slicer comparison guide available here.
