The new Vulcan VC55 double deck gas convection oven features the foodservice industry’s first removable, lift-off, dishwasher safe doors. No tools are required; meaning any member of your staff can easily remove the doors and run them through your commercial dishwasher. This new innovation helps the end user maintain the see-through visibility of the door’s double pane windows. The doors also carry a 3 year warranty; a testament to their durability.
The ovens’ door handles are constructed of cool-to-the-touch material. Even at the highest operating temperatures, the handles do not conduct heat, promoting a safer kitchen environment and greater accessibility. The doors themselves are about 70 degrees cooler to the touch than previous models. How is this possible? Unlike most convection ovens, the doors of the VC55 do not have any insulation. Instead, the doors are vented on the top and bottom edges, allowing air to act as a natural thermal barrier.
